Megastar Chiranjeevi is condifent about his upcoming release, an action entertainer titled Bhola Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh. The movie is going to hit the screens all over the world on August 11.

Bhola Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam starring Ajith. It was directed by Siva and was released in 2015. Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh are playing the two female lead characters in the film. Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the role of Mahalakshmi, Bhola Shankar's sister.

Ahead of the film's impending release, the filmmakers and cast are taking part in several interviews. Megastar Chiranjeevi is excited for the remake film and has been sharing several anecdotes and behind the scenes deets for his fans.

In one such recent interview, he shared about his experience of working with Keerthy Suresh's mother, yesteryear actress Menaka. He said, 'I worked with Menaka for a film called Punnami Naagu which was released in 1980. Later, whenever we met, she used to talk about you (pointing at Keerthy Suresh). I was astonished at the effort you have put in for Mahanati, and how you aced the role. Now, we both have worked together as brother and sister," laughed the actor.

He further said that he and Keerthy Suresh have become friends and share a good bond. Talking about Tamannaah, the film's lead actress, Chiranjeevi said, "Tamannaah is very dedicated to her work. Her father underwent a surgery during the shooting of Milky Beauty song but she stayed, continued the shooting while talking to her family and comforting them. This is one example of her commitment."

Along with Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah, and Keerthy Suresh, the movie also features Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Shawar Ali, Tarun Arora, Vennela Kishore, Sreemukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Rashmi Gautam, Getup Srinu, Uttej, and Tulasi among others in prominent roles.

The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh, who also wrote the screenplay. Mamidala Thirupathi wrote the dialogues for Bhola Shankar. Dudley cranked the camera and Marthand K Venkatesh worked as the film's editor. Mahathi Swara Sagar composed the film's background score and music.

Ramabrahman Sunkara and KS Rama Rao bankrolled the movie under the AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials banner. Zee Studios is distributing the movie.
