Megastar Chiranjeevi's comedy-action drama Bhola Shankar hit the big screens worldwide on August 11. The movie was directed by Meher Ramesh, after making adequate changes to the story of the original film Vedalam, a super hit Tamil movie.

Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah are the movie's leading ladies. Upon its theatrical release, Bhola Shankar received a negative response from the fans of the megastar as well as the regular Tollywood film buffs. The director once again delivered a mega-flop with this remake. The movie is now ready to enter the digital streaming space through Netflix India.

Bhola Shankar moves to Kolkata with his adopted sister Radha (Keerthy Suresh) for her education. However, unbeknownst to others, Shankar is also on a personal mission and is a former gangster. Who is Radha? What happened to her family? What is Shankar's agenda? are answered on the big screen.

The digital streaming rights of Bhola Shankar are bought by OTT giant Netflix for a good amount. The movie will be available for streaming from September 15.

Along with Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah, and Keerthy Suresh, the movie also features Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Shawar Ali, Tarun Arora, Vennela Kishore, Sreemukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Rashmi Gautam, Getup Srinu, Uttej, and Tulasi among others in prominent roles.

The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh, who also wrote the screenplay. Mamidala Thirupathi wrote the dialogues for Bhola Shankar. Dudley cranked the camera and Marthand K Venkatesh worked as the film's editor. Mahathi Swara Sagar composed the film's background score and music.

Ramabrahman Sunkara and KS Rama Rao bankrolled the movie under the AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials banner. Zee Studios is distributing the movie.
