Vijay Antony's latest release Bichagadu 2, which was released on May 19 all over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, along with some other parts of the world, is successfully running in theatres.

Bichagadu 2 is quite successful in Telugu than its original- Tamil. The actor has come down to Hyderabad to promote his film ahead of its theatrical release and also organized a pre-release event in the city.

Vijay Gurumurthy and Satya (Vijay Antony) are doppelgangers and have no connection to each other. While one is a former multi-millionaire, the other is a convict beggar, who serves jail term. A situation puts Satya in Vijay's place and then the story begins to unfold. What will Satya do when he becomes Vijay?

The movie which was released amid decent expectations in Tamil and Telugu was reviewed as an average film. Though the movie was disappointing when compared to the first part, the story is entirely new and there are only a few instances that stand out.
