In tonight's special Dussehra episode that will go on air from 7 pm, contestant Pooja Murthy will get evicted. She becomes the seventh consecutive female housemate to face the eviction door in this Ulta-Pulta season.

Pooja Murthy is a small-screen celebrity in the Telugu entertainment industry. She is popular for her character in a successful soap opera called 'Gundamma Katha' which goes on air on Zee Telugu.

Pooja Murthy entered the Bigg Boss 7 Telugu house as a wild card contestant in the fifth week, along with four other housemates, who are called 'Potugaallu.' The five are Arjun Ambati, Pooja Murthy, Nayani Pavani, Bhole Shavali, and Ashwini Sree.

Pooja Murthy was supposed to enter the house on September 3, when the season began with 14 contestants. However, due to a personal tragedy, the television actress had to stay behind. As she was supposed to enter the house within a few hours, her father died unfortunately. Her father also wished her to go inside the house, before passing away, which Pooja revealed during her wild card entry.

However, after the nomination process, taking into consideration her vote bank, her contribution to the game show, and her following, Pooja had to see the exit door within two weeks. Even during her stint inside the house, Pooja showcased nothing remarkable. She was only seen and heard when she had objections with everybody including her teammates like Bhole Shavali, and Ashwini Sree. Pooja Murty maintained good rapport with everybody inside the house and is good friends with Priyanka, Shobha, and Amardeep.

Pooja Murthy's Remuneration

For her participation in the much-loved and followed reality show, Pooja Murthy was signed for an amount of Rs 2 Lakh per week. For two weeks inside the house, Pooja will take home somewhere about Rs 4 Lakh in total remuneration.

For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Telugu 7 history, this is the seventh time a female contestant was evicted from the show, consecutively.
