The brand new season of the much-hyped and awaited reality show on the Telugu television, Bigg Boss Telugu, is ready to kick-start in a couple of days.

Bigg Boss Telugu 7, dubbed as the 'ulta-pulta' season, will begin from September 3 with Akkineni Nagarjuna as its host, for the fifth time. The final contestants are now gearing up to take part in the reality show with hopes of realizing their big dreams.

The new season which will be aired on Star Maa channel will consist of small screen actors, singers, comedians, and social media influencers as contestants.

Several names of the almost-finalist and confirmed contestants for the Bigg Boss Telugu 7 are hitting the headlines everyday. With the premiere's date drawing in, there is an update on the contestants every hour on the social media platforms.

Ravi Sivateja is an actor who starred in over 400 short films on YouTube. He is making it big for him by doing prominent roles in films like Ustaad, in which he played the role of Sri Simha's friend. He was also a name that was in consideration for the reality show.

Speaking to a YouTube channel, Ravi Sivateja spoke at length about his character in Ustaad and his aspirations. As part, he also mentioned how his wife, director Vijay Bhaskar's daughter Syamani had warned him of severe consequences if he wants to take part in the Bigg Boss show. According to a report in Sakshi, Sivateja said, "Syamani threatened to divorce me if I am part of the Bigg Boss reality show."

When asked about how he came this far in the industry, Sivateja elaborated, "I come from a normal family and no background in the industry. At first, it was really tough, and I had my share of bitter experiences in the film industry. Syamani was one person who stood by me during my difficult times. I don't know that she was Vijay Bhaskar's daughter when I fell in love with her. After knowing who her father is, I felt discouraged. I wasn't sure if we would get married. But Syamani was confident about us, and she made sure to convince everybody.

Director Vijay Bhaskar has helmed blockbuster films like Swayamvaram, Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Naku Nachav, Manmadhuu, Malleswari, and Jai Chiranjeeva. He launched his son as an actor with a recently released film titled 'Jilebi.' The movie stars Sivani Rajasekhar as the female lead. It has been getting positive reviews.
