After the nominations took place inside the Bigg Boss 7 Telugu for week 9, the upcoming weekend's elimination process, the housemates were seriously involved in the captaincy task which they played in groups to become contenders. Going by the latest information, we hear that Shobha Shetty finally became the captain, fulfilling her dream.

Shobha is the toughest and strongest player in the house at the moment. She is not only the best among female housemates but is also remarkable when it comes to tasks and games within the season, which are to be played collectively and individually.

Shobha has this attitude of getting irritated super fast and feeling like it is the end of the world whenever she loses a task. But, she is the first person to always show up as a player. She has been trying to win the power Astra in the first few weeks and then become the captain. However, in week 9, which is the most crucial week for her survival inside the house, Shobha Shetty won the task and became the captain, reportedly.

However, the immunity that comes for captain of the house is valid for the upcoming week, after the nomination process begins. However, there is no guarantee that Shobha might not be eliminated just because she won the captaincy task this week. Shobha Shetty faced severe criticism and amassed negativity among the netizens who follow the reality show for her attitude and behaviour. They have been waiting for her eviction from the show but now she turned up becoming a captain.

So far, Kiran Rathore, Shakeela, Damini, Rathika, Subhashree, Nayani Pavani, and Pooja Murthy got evicted from the show. This is the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Telugu to have sent 7 female contestants in a row. However, in week 8, Rathika Rose re-entered the show as a contestant who got the least number of votes.
