BRO Closing Collections Worldwide: Pawan Kalyan-Sai Dharam Tej's Remake Film Fails To Achieve Break-Even

BRO The Avatar aka BRO is the recent movie starring power star Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, written and directed by Samuthirakani. The movie is a remake of the Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham. BRO hit the screens worldwide on July 28.

BRO has a slight change in the story and screenplay, which was rendered by writer-director Trivikram Srinivas. He also wrote the dialogue for this film made on a massive budget of Rs 110 Crore.

Before the movie's release, fans were excited about the maiden collaboration between Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan. With Samuthirakani directing the movie, who enacted and directed the original in Tamil, high hopes were pinned on the film. However, the negative response to the movie started with the release of its first single. It continued when the second single was dropped. Thaman was trolled by fans heavily for scoring such boring songs for BRO. Likewise, post-theatrical release, the movie failed to enthral the fans, forgetting the regular movie buffs.

BRO Story

The movie depicts the life of Markandeya aka Mark, who meets with an accident and dies (precisely). He meets the God of time AKA Titan (PSPK) who tells him that his time on the earth is up. On hearing this, Mark begs Titan to give him some time to settle things for his family.

The final worldwide collection of BRO The Avatar settles at Rs 67 Crore and didn't achieve the break-even figure of Rs 95 Crore, becoming a flop.

The remake movie stars Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej, Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Subbaraju, Ali Reza, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani, Prudhvi Raj, Surya Sreenivas, Raja Chembolu and Urvashi Rautela (song appearance) in key roles.
