Power star Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej-starrer BRO The Avatar aka Bro movie opened on the silver screen worldwide on July 28. The movie is co-written and directed by Samuthirakani, who helmed and acted in the original, Vinodhaya Sitham.
After the movie hit the screens, it was reviewed as a feast for the fans of the actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan. The entire first half of the film is overflowing with vintage Pawan Kalyan references from his earlier films, much to the excitement of the eager fans. The movie, on the whole, is reviewed as an average film.
The mixed response and underwhelming reviews for Samuthirakani's directorial didn't deter the fans from thronging the theatres. The opening weekend for the BRO movie is looking bigger and better. On the very first day of its release, the movie is expected to make a revenue of Rs 20 Crore from India alone.
Fans Upset With Guruji's Trademark Dialogues?
It is known that writer-director Trivikram Srinivas penned the dialogues and screenplay for BRO. The collaboration of Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan excited the fans and the expectations are sky-high. Fans as usual expected punch dialogues and ones with depth in the film which they expected Pawan Kalyan to mouth. However, BRO disappointed the fans in this aspect, reportedly. According to a report by 123 Telugu, fans are upset about the lack of trademark Guruji's dialogues.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, who has a great run-time in the movie alongside Sai Dharam Tej, the movie also stars Brahmanandam, Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Subbaraju, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukul Dev, Ashutosh Rana, Vennela Kishore, Ali Reza, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani, Sameer Hasan, and Raja Ravindra among others in key roles. Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela sizzled in a dance number as Sithra Manjari in 'My Dear Markandeya.'

TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla bankrolled the movie under the People Media Factory in association with ZEE Studios. The film's entire background score and music are composed by Thaman S. Sujith Vaassudev and Naveen Nooli worked as the film's cinematographer and editor, respectively.
