Legendary Chandra Mohan (82) breathed his last due to a massive cardiac arrest in Hyderabad on November 11. The Tollywood industry is in deep shock over the sudden news of the veteran's demise. Actors, technicians, and his fans are thronging his house in Film Nagar to pay their final respects to this phenomenal actor.

Even though he entered the film industry as an actor without any expectations, the famous actor Chandramohan has shown his talents and acquired remarkable recognition in a very short time. He entertained the audiences and his fans by playing versatile characters as a hero, character artist, villain, and comedian.

His decision to continue acting even after losing lead roles made him survive for an epic 55 years in the industry; acting in about 932 films. He was the lead hero in about 175 films which prompted his actresses to achieve star status. As Chandra Mohan's death news surfaced, the actor's assets and financial status hit the headlines. Chandra Mohan belongs to the second set of actors that ruled Tollywood in the 1960s. He was best friends with Shobhan Babu, who taught financial lessons and investments to his colleagues in the industry. Chandra Mohan is one of the very few actors who took Shobhan Babu's words seriously, apart from Murali Mohan.

After settling down as a promising actor in Chennai, Chandra Mohan bought a spacious house in the city of Chennai for a lucrative price. However, the present value of the house is around Rs 200 Crore, according to Filmnagar sources.

In addition, the legendary actor amassed a wealth of a total of Rs 350 Crore. He distributed them between his two daughters. As some of the assets are still in his name, by the time of his death.
