Chandra Mohan Death: Funeral To Take Place In Hyderabad On November 13; Full Details Inside
Tollywood veteran Chandra Mohan, one of the senior actors belonging to the thriving 1960s Telugu film industry died in Hyderabad on November 11. The actor was 82 at the time of his death. Condolences and prayers are pouring in from all corners of the two Telugu-speaking states as their beloved actor has breathed his last.
The veteran actor who stopped appearing in films several years ago due to health-related issues suffered a major cardiac arrest which led to his death at the Apollo Hospitals where he was declared dead.
Chandra Mohan was a revered hero and much-loved actor who worked in more than 932 films over 55 years. He was the recipient of the 'Best Actor' award for his first film Rangula Ratnam.
Chandra Mohan was a relative of renowned filmmaker K Viswanath, who died earlier this year. Born in Pamidimukkala village of Krishna district in 1943, Chandra Mohan entered the film industry in 1966 as a hero. He never looked back ever since and has become one of the most popular and busiest actors in the Telugu film industry.

The octogenarian is survived by his wife Jalandhara and two daughters. His daughters are said to be looking after the formalities and funeral arrangements. The final rites will take place in Hyderabad on Monday as per the Brahmin traditions.
It is however to be confirmed if the family members and the Movie Artists Association (MAA) will allow the veteran's fans and the film fraternity to pay their last respects at the Film Chamber hall in Hyderabad, before beginning the funeral procedures.
