Character Artist & Bigg Boss Fame Hema Stopped Doing Roles In Telugu Films, Here's Why!

Tollywood's one of the most popular character actors, Hema, popular for her comedy roles alongside Brahmanandam among others, has been missing in action of late.

Hema, who was last seen taking part in the Telugu TV channel's biggest reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 has not appeared in any of the notable films post the pandemic. She was last seen in Panja Vaisshnav Tej-Rakul Preet Singh's 'Konda Polam.'

Recently, the once-active member of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) was all over the news for her alleged attack on actor Siva Balaji during the association election. The artist was said to have bitten Siva Balaji on the hand using her teeth. The issue was blown out of proportion. However, Hema has good connections and maintains a cordial relationship with her colleagues.

She was recently spotted at the 'Nellore Pedda Reddy Chepala Pulusu' hotel opened by Jabardasth fame RP, known as Kiraak RP. Speaking to the media, when questioned about why she isn't doing any films, Hema said, "I have become so busy in business and got habituated to comfort. I have so much money that I don't need to work hard anymore." Although it was clear that she made a sarcastic statement about her work, fans speculate that her issues with the MAA led her to refrain from opportunities that dried up for her.
