Actress Swati Reddy, popularly known as Colours Swati is back in the headlines for more than many reasons. The actress who was seen alongside Sai Dharam Tej in a music video titled Soul Of Satya, is gearing up with yet another movie called Month Of Madhu.

The actress was in Hyderabad for the promotion of this film written and directed by debutant Srikanth Nagothi. Swati is teaming up with her 'Tripura' movie costar Naveen Chandra for the second time in this emotional drama.

The movie which also stars Shreya Navile in the second female lead role depicts the journey of a couple who struggle in their relationship and contemplate ending their 20-year-old marriage with divorce.

Swati Reacts To Divorce Rumours

Swati Reddy was questioned about the rumours surrounding her personal life of late. A journalist reportedly questioned her about the divorce rumours that are going viral on social media and entertainment websites. The actress didn't dodge the question but replied in her quirky way. "I don't like to comment on it. I won't answer this question," said Swati reportedly, going by the report on TV9.

She further added, "I have some rules as an actress and therefore I don't want to say anything about divorce or my personal life."

Swati married a pilot named Vikas Vasu, who has origins from Kerala. Theirs was a love marriage. The duo tied the knot in 2018 and hosted two receptions for the film fraternities in Kerala and Hyderabad, with her close friends from the industry attending the wedding event. Post her marriage, she relocated to Indonesia where her husband works, and stayed away from films. However, she made a comeback with an anthology movie titled 'Panchathanthram' recently.

Back in 2020, there were speculations about her divorce as the actress hid all her pictures and videos with her husband from her Instagram account. Swathi, who immediately reacted to the news said that she archived them to clear out the profile and there is nothing more to it.

She even posted a video of how she archived them. However, she deactivated her account on social media in July 2020 stating "I thought social media was not the right place to be at that point in time. I am just an actor with a blue tick. Balancing an online life and real life was getting surreal."
