Naga Chaitanya's latest cop drama titled Custody, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu is set to hit the screens on a huge scale on May 12. The movie is made as a Tamil and Telugu bilingual.

Venkat Prabhu is making his Telugu debut as a director. Krithi Shetty was roped in for the film's female lead character, which marks the second collaboration of Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty.

Custody is a cop thriller that is rumoured to be based on a Hollywood film titled Safe House, which was released in 2012.

Custody Story
Shiva, a police constable is in charge of a murderer and ruthless gangster named Raju, who has to be taken to court. However, Shiva must safeguard Raju from an attack. Meanwhile, his personal life with Renuka is jeopardized.

Custody Cast

The Venkat Prabhu movie stars Arvind Swamy as Raju, R Sarathkumar, Krithi Shetty as Revathi, Priyamani, Vennela Kishore, Premgi Amaren, Sampath Raj, Ramki, Premi Viswanath, Kayal Anandhi, Surya, YG Mahedran, Ravi Prakash, Goparaju Ramana, and Rajitha among others in important characters.

Custody Crew

The movie is bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen and Anji Industeries banners. The film's story and screenplay are written by director Venkat Prabhu himself.

Abburi Ravi wrote the dialogues for the Telugu version and Venkat Prabhu penned for the Tamil version. SR Kathir cranked the camera and Venkat Raajen worked as the editor. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilaiyaraaja worked together on Custody's background score and tunes.
