Dasara Box Office: Nani’s Film Becomes 2nd Highest Pan-India Grosser of 2023 After SRK’s Pathaan

Natural star Nani's latest action-emotional drama film co-written and directed by debutant director Srikanth Odela is running successfully all over the country and in a few parts of the world. The movie which stars National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh as the lead actress was released amid great expectations on March 30.

The response that the film garnered at the box office is massive and within five days of its release, the movie made Rs 87 Crore Gross worldwide. Srikanth Odela's storyline, captivating cinematography, and the entire set-up coupled with terrific performances made Dasara successful. The movie also didn't have any competition at the box office across southern states while in Hindi, Dasara is pitched against Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa.'

Dasara also achieved another feat, adding to its newly-set records in the openings, box office collections, etc. The movie is the second-highest grosser(weekend) in the pan-India films that were released in the year. By standing next to Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Dasara became the highest-weekend collection

On the occasion, to celebrate the success of Dasara, the filmmakers have decided to offer a reduced ticket price on Dasara's Hindi version. Each ticket from Monday until Thursday will be sold at Rs 112 across all theatres where the Hindi version of Dasara is being played.

Shine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, and Jhansi among others have played important characters in the film. Sudhakar Cherukuri produced the movie under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner. Sathyan Sooryan cranked the camera for the film and Naveen Nooli worked as its editor. The movie was made on a budget of Rs 65 Crore.
