Natural star Nani's recent mass revenge drama titled Dasara was released and became a phenomenon. The movie was written and directed by Srikanth Odela and was released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh portrayed the role of Vennela in the film, and Dheekshith Shetty was seen essaying the role of Suri. The tale of friendship, love, and revenge was told in the set-up of a village in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines.
