Dasara, the mass entertainer starring Natural star Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles has finally hit the screens on March 30. Dasara was met with an overwhelming response from the fans and movie-goers from all over the world upon its theatrical release. The movie is directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, and marks the first pan-India release of actor Nani. The movie is raving reviews for the performances of the lead cast and technicalities.

Dasara is a remarkable film in the career of Nani, who not only broke his comfort zone portraying Dharani but also promoted this on a pan-India level. The film recorded Nani's career's best openings with all the advance shows sold out three days before the film's release.

Dasara was made on a budget of Rs 65 Crore. The movie has done a great pre-release business and is just Rs 1 Crore away from achieving break-even after the theatrical rights were sold.

The digital streaming rights of Nani's Dasara are acquired by the OTT giant Netflix for a whopping price of Rs 22 Crore. Upon the successful theatrical run, Dasara will hit the digital OTT platform for streaming. Usually, until five weeks after the film's theatrical release, any movie is forbidden from hitting the OTT platform. After successful run at the theatres all over India, Dasara is now ready to hit the digital streaming platform. The movie will stream on Netflix from April 27.

Sathyan Sooryan cranked the camera for Dasara. Musician Santhosh Narayanan made his Tollywood debut as the background score and tunes composer for Dasara. The music is a sensational hit. Naveen Nooli worked on the film's editing. Srikanth Odela co-wrote the film's story along with Jella Srinath, Arjuna Paturi, and Vamsi Krishna P. Sudhakar Cherukuri and Srikanth produced the film jointly under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner.
