Dasara Worldwide Box Office Collection: Nani's Mass Revenge Action Tale Crosses 2 Million USD & Sets A Record!

Dasara is actor Nani's latest outing at the box office under the direction of debutant Srikanth Odela. The movie shot Natural Star Nani into a tier 1 hero, with its massive business both before and after the film's release.

Upon its theatrical release in five languages pan-India on March 30, the movie was met with largely positive reviews. It went on to do big at the box office without competition, making Dasara the biggest hit in Nani's entire career, and solidifying director Srikanth Odela's position as a sought-after director in Tollywood.

Popular Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted about the same and wrote, "'DASARA' HITS $ 2 MILLION IN NORTH AMERICA... #Dasara continues its glorious march at the #BO... The critically-acclaimed and commercially-successful film - starring #Nani - hits $ 2 million mark in #NorthAmerica.

Dasara stars Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko in the antagonist's role, which also marks his Tollywood debut. Senior actors Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Jhansi, Shamna Kasim, Rajsekhar Aningi, and Raviteja Nannimala form the other important cast of the film. Dheekshit Shetty played an important role- character of Suri.

Sathyan Sooryan cranked the camera for the film as its cinematographer. Naveen Nooli worked as the editor, and Santhosh Narayanan composed Dasara's entire music and background score.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on a budget of Rs 65 Crore under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Dasara is the biggest success to date of all the movies of the banner. The movie's story was co-written by Jella Srinath, Arjuna Paturi, and Vamsi Krishna P along with the director.

Nani's Work Front

Nani will be joining the schedule of his upcoming film Nani 30 with actress Mrunal Thakur. The shooting will begin in a couple of days in Goa and will be shot for about 40 days there, under the direction of debutant Shouryuv.
