Director Teja's Shocking Remarks About His Daughter's Wedding, Says 'I Wouldn't Perform Her Marriage....'

Director Teja is a phenomenon in the Telugu Film Industry. Although the talented filmmaker is waiting for success to come back on track, his films and his personality are intriguing. He is also one of the very few of the Tollywood known for not mincing any words.

His latest film with Rana's brother, Abhiram Daggubati-starrer Ahimsa, is gearing up for a huge theatrical release, very soon.

Talking to a news channel in an interview, Teja made some remarks that hit the headlines, like usual. He also questioned the interviewer about why people want only him to talk about late actor Uday Kiran's death, while everybody knows the reason behind it.

Speaking about his children, a son, and a daughter, Teja said, "My son finished learning direction as a course. I will soon introduce him as a hero. My daughter completed her education and returned from the States. I told her to get married to whomever she likes but in a registered marriage. I told her this and then also informed them that we shall host a reception for near and dear later on," added he.

Sharing his two cents about life, Teja further mentioned, "I tell my children to be happy. They have to do what they want to do to be happy. It is not about what people or the society think."

The movie which features Abhiram and Geetika Tiwari as the lead actors is set to release on June 2.

The director, who worked with Rana Naidu fame Rana Daggubati on 'Nenu Raju Nene Mantri' with Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa, is said to be joining hands with the actor once again. Their first movie NRNM was a successful venture and it was billed as a hit at the box office. More news about their second collaboration will be revealed shortly.
