Disco
Shanti
is
a
popular
actress-dancer
in
the
southern
film
industries
from
the
1980s-1990s.
She
was
remarkable
as
a
dancer
in
special
numbers
with
every
top
grade
actor
of
that
time.
She
was
next
to
Silk
Smitha
and
ended
her
career
after
marrying
Srihari
in
1996.
Disco
Shanti
was
a
happy
soul
earlier
but
Srihari's
death
due
to
illhealth
changed
everything
for
her
overnight.
She
turned
into
someone
unrecognizable
following
the
tragedy
but
is
now
recuperating.
The
57-year-old
recently
opened
in
an
interview
with
an
YouTube
channel
on
how
she
took
the
death
of
Srihari.
When
asked
about
how
she
is
standing
for
their
two
sons
like
a
rock,
in
the
place
of
their
father,
Shanti
said,
"They
have
grown
older.
Not
me
being
their
support,
but
they
have
brought
me
back
to
normalcy.
They
both
brought
me
out
of
depression.
She
said,
"To
be
frank,
I
became
addicted
to
alcohol
after
passing
away
of
Bava
(Srihari).
I
did
this
to
forget
my
existence
so
that
I
could
forget
reality.

downstairs.
I
mustered
up
courage
to
go
to
our
bedroom
after
three
months,
but
I
ran
back
to
the
hall.
My
brothers
and
their
families
stayed
with
me
for
over
three
months.
But
they
left
due
to
their
kids
education.
After
that,
my
sons
have
been
my
support," added
Shanti.
