Akhil Akkineni's spy action thriller Agent is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on April 28. Bollywood actor Dino Morea is making his Telugu debut in the film.

Written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy, Agent, which was delayed due to several reasons for the last two years, is finally seeing the light of day. Ahead of the theatrical release, Dino Morea, who played the antagonist's role in the high-octane action entertainer, spoke to Filmibeat exclusively. Below are the excerpts from the interview.

Dino Morea's Telugu Debut & Character In Agent

Talking about it, Dino said, I play an agent who works for the RAW but gone rogue. He wants to avenge the system that did him wrong. We named this character God, who is highly trained, worked for the agency, trained by Mammootty sir's character.

The character need to look tough and sport a different look, to show some madness. The director has some crazy ideas and visions although I had some contribution but he has everything set about the roles. He knows best and understand the pulse and enrgy of the audience. That's how we worked on it.

Whenever I delivered the shot, he wanted it to be more loud and more dramatic and higher. I hope people will like it. This is the best role for my Telugu debut.

On Working With Mammootty After Kandukondein Kandukondein

That film was many years ago and there is so much difference now. I then know nothing and Mammootty sir was as bigger back in the time. To work with him is fantastic. You can watch, listen, and observe how he addresses the character. "Ek tashan tha ek takkar tha, aapke saamne koi fantastic actor ho, I want to be as good as him."

Dino also shared an interesting anecdote. He said, "He's not aged at all. I asked him what he eats. His hair and skin are young and I said wow. I told him that he is looking as good as Dulquer. He takes care of him very well. For the visual medium, one has to maintain a look and take care of themselves nicely, and Mammootty sir has done it very well."
