Tammareddy Bharadwaja is the son of a film producer and Raghupathi Venkaiah Award recipient, Tammareddy Krishna Murthy. His brother, Lenin Babu is also a film director. Coming from a communist family, the director-producer has tried to present similar ideologies through his films.
He started a production company and made a movie titled 'Kothala Rayudu', which made Megastar Chiranjeevi the solo hero for the first time. Next, he made 'Mogudu Kavali' with Chiranjeevi again. Both films were super hits. Rajasekhar-starrer 'Vetagadu', 'Swarnakka', 'Suri', and 'Pothe Poni' were some of the many films he made as a producer and/or director.
