Guntur Kaaram First Review: Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up with the biggest film of his career, the much-awaited combination of Trivikram Srinivas, and Guntur Kaaram. The mass-action entertainer is slated for a grand theatrical release on January 12 worldwide.

Writer-director Trivikram Srinivas is once again said to have been dealing with an emotional and sentimental family drama with an adequate amount of action and his trademark comedy.

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas earlier delivered an industry hit with 'Athadu' and then came together for an experimental drama titled 'Khaleja' which won critical applause and went on to become a cult film; tanking at the box office.

For Guntur Kaaram, the duo joined hands after about 12 years and the expectations for this film are beyond the sky. Needless to say, Mahesh's rugged and rustic mass avatar sent his fans into a frenzied mode, making them anxious. With the first and second singles from the SS Thaman's musical album, the buzz is getting real.

The makers of the film are reportedly discussing the pre-release event plan in the first week of January. To keep up with the film's title and the fandom Mahesh Babu enjoys, since he hails from the Guntur district, the makers want to organize the grand event in Guntur, where they will also release the theatrical trailer.

While the movie is not going to get postponed again from the Sankranthi race, the advance booking and pre-sales for Mahesh Babu-Trivikram's film began in the UK. The movie sold more than 3000 tickets, reportedly.

Along with Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela, the lead pair of Guntur Kaaram, the movie stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Mahesh Achanta, Mukesh Rishi, Ravi Kumar Aneja, Sanjay Krishna, Pradum Shukla, Ashish Vidyarthi, Pappu Polyster, and Raghu Babu among others playing important characters.

Manoj Paramahamsa and PS Vinod are the head cinematographers of the movie, while Naveen Nooli is working as its editor. Thaman S composed the film's entire sound and tunes. Haarika & Hassine Creations is funding the project. AS Prakash is working as the head of the Production Design, and E S Rahul is looking over the Visual Effects for Guntur Kaaram.
