Natural star Nani's latest emotional romantic family drama Hi Nanna, written and directed by Shouryuv hit the screens to mostly positive reviews on December 7. Featuring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, Hi Nanna charts the emotional rollercoaster of a single father and his daughter who always questions about her mother.

After the paid premieres and the overseas reviews started pouring in favourable feedback, the openings for Hi Nanna picked the pace back home. The critics, fans, and the regular film buffs are praising Nani for his performance in the film, which is actually his domain. He and Mrunal have made a beautiful pair onscreen and they swooped Hi Nanna with their talent, rightly complimented by Heshab Abdul Wahab's serene music and score. The visuals are also said to have been a soothing treatment to the eyes, reportedly.

Hi Nanna OTT Rights Secured By Netflix

Hi Nanna, which has done a pre-release business of about Rs 27 Crore, non-theatrical, has sold of its digital streaming rights to OTT giant Netflix. The makers of the film have signed a deal with the platform to stream Mrunal Thakur-Nani's Hi Nanna to allow streaming within six to eight weeks after its theatrical release date.

Hi Nanna To Stream On Netflix From THIS Date

Going by the same deal, we might see Hi Nanna hitting the digital streaming space only during the last week of January 2024.

The movie stars Nani as Viraj, Mrunal Thakur as Yashna, Baby Kiara Khanna, Jayaram, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Angad Bedi, Viraj Ashwin, and Shruti Haasan in a special role. In addition, the director also confirmed two more special cameos.

Funded by Mohan Cherukuri, Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy KS under the Vyra Entertainments banner, Hi Nanna has music and background score by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Sanu Varghese cranked the camera and Praveen Anthony worked as the film's editor. The film's dialogues are penned by Nagendra Kasi. Shouryuv wrote and directed the movie.
