Raju Gari Gadhi and Raju Gari Gadhi 2 fame Ashwin Babu, a renowned Dancer-turned-actor, had hit the screens with a unique murdery mystery thriller titled Hidimbha. The movie stars Nandita Shweta as the female lead in a investigative officer role.

Written and directed by Aneel Kanneganti, Hidimbha was released worldwide on July 20. Before its release, the filmmakers carried out extensive promotions to pique interest among the viewers. Thriller and mystery genre fans got excited with the theatrical trailer, which impressed them.

However, upon its theatrical release, the performances and the attempt received highly critical reviews. The director was said to have stumbled in writing a gripping screenplay and canning interesting scenes to keep the viewer on edge of the seat. Otherwise, Hidimbha could have become another hit in the Tollywood industry for 2023. The box office collections are satisfactory.

Hidimbha OTT Release Date & Platform

The movie, which won critical appreciation for the story, premise, and performances, is now ready to entertain worldwide audience through its digital streaming debut. The movie will now be releasing on Aha Video OTT from August 10. Ideally the gap between theatrical and OTT release is five weeks for any film, and for films that work big time at the box office, it could go upto eight weeks.

The movie stars Ashwin Babu and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles. Actor Srinivasa Reddy, music composer Raghu, Rajeev Kanakala, Vidyullekha Raman, Sahithi Avancha, and Sijju among others played key supporting roles in the film.

The movie was written and directed by Aneel Kanneganti. Sreedhar Gangapatnam produced the movie under the SVK Cinemas banner. AK Entertainments banner presented the film.
