Jailer is the recent sensation in the country, especially in the south-India as superstar Rajinikanth's dark comedy action-drama is on a rampage at the box office.

Written and directed by Nelson, Jailer features Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian, a retired Jailer, who lives quite a simple life. After a very long time, Rajinikanth was depicted in a refreshing role, which his fans and movie lovers are raving about.

Despite a few drawbacks, Jailer is continuing to entertain the fans of Rajinikanth. The thumping background score and tunes by Anirudh Ravichander amplified the movie on the big screen.

Jailer Story
The movie is the story of a retired Jailer Muthu, whose son, a strict ACP gets kidnapped. Muthu lives a peaceful life but when he learns that his son was murdered, he sets out to avenge his death. A flashback of Muthu unravels, and there is a twist. What happens next, is to be seen on the big screen.

In addition, the movie features Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar in cameos.
