Jailer Story
The movie is the story of a retired Jailer Muthu, whose son, a strict ACP gets kidnapped. Muthu lives a peaceful life but when he learns that his son was no more, he sets out to avenge his death. A flashback of Muthu unravels, and there is a twist. What happens next, is to be seen on the big screen.
Jailer movie stars Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon, Naga Babu, Kishore, Redin Kingsley, Saravanan, SunilReddy, Aranthangi Nisha, Uday Mahesh, G Marimuthhu, and Mahanadi Shankar, among others in key roles. In addition, the movie features Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar in cameos.
Kalanithi Maran produced the movie under the Sun Pictures banner. The budget was Rs 200 Crore. Vijay Kartik Kannan cranked the camera, and Anirudh Ravichander composed outstanding background score and music. R Nirmal worked as the editor of Jailer.
