JD Chakravarthy Reveals A Near-Death Experience Plotted On Him: Actor-writer-director and producer JD Chakravarthy shared a shocking detail about his personal life in a recent interview with a Telugu YouTube channel. The multi-talented film personality has been all over the news for the last couple of days about his alleged rumours of marrying anchor Vishnupriyaa.

Speaking about his career spanning three decades, his personal life, and his challenges JD Chakravarthy shared so many facts about his life.

When the show's host questioned him about the secret of his life, a near-death experience in which he was about to die due to breathlessness, JD for the first time revealed the incident.

The host asked I was told that you escaped death due to an attempt by your past girlfriend, wife, or life partner who once tried to kill you.

A shocked JD finally spoke after a pause. He said, "Don't ask me the gender of the person, but someone very close to me did that. I'm surprised how you came to know it, it is a personal secret. Only three or four people knew it and I'm one among them."

He then elaborated, "I developed a breathing issue and I have no idea why. I don't have any habits like smoking, intoxicants, etc, and was clueless why I suffered breathing difficulty. I consulted several doctors in India and Sri Lanka. I had to fight hard to take a small breath.

One of my friends who is a lawyer took me to a doctor in Hyderabad. He forced me to see that doctor and he ran a couple of unique tests. All of us were shocked when the doctor asked me why I am taking drugs?"

Meanwhile, JD also shared a back story about the drink in question. During my days as a film editor in 2001, a producer by the name of Khasim, who was always with me asked me to share my drink with him. I told him that it is an ayurvedic concoction (Kashayam), as I was told by that person. However, upon persistence, I gave my drink to him to consume.

Khasim was down with a fever for two days and he fell sick after puking the drink after he consumed it. I shared the same information with the person in my life, who then got very angry and worked up. The person fought with me for sharing the drink which was made only for me.

I learned that the concoction gave rise to my breathing issues and it would go undetected even after an autopsy."

JD Chakravarthy is 53 years old and is known for his association with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. He worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. He made his debut in RGV's directorial debut Shiva, which is a trendsetting film.

The talented film personality got married to an actress Anukriti in 2016 and has been living separately of late.
