Writer-actor-director Tharun Bhascker's latest directorial, a crime comedy titled Keedaa Cola hit the screens worldwide on November 3. The movie which stars Brahmanandam in a prominent role opened amid much hype and positive reviews from the premieres but after the theatrical release, the movie gained mixed feedback.

Keedaa Cola did decent business before its release due to the buzz and the popularity of Tharun Bhascker, who also played a crucial role in this film.

The movie depicts the strange and unique challenge that a funny group takes on to make quick bucks. They decide to put a cockroach into a soft drink bottle to hit the jackpot. Meanwhile, there is an aspiring Corporator with high ambitions in pursuit of something.

The movie had a great opening in the overseas market and the reviews from paid premieres have amplified expectations for this film which also marks the Telugu debut of MTV Roadies host-cum-producer Raghu Ram.

According to a report on The SouthFirst, Keedaa Cola has done a pre-release non-theatrical business worldwide of Rs 8.1 Crore. To reach the break-even target, the movie needs to earn Rs 8.5 Crore. The movie made a good mark at the USA box office but is yet to pass the litmus test. Keedaa Cola reportedly earned Rs 12.06 Crore worldwide Gross.

On its opening day at the box office, Keedaa Cola is expected to earn about Rs 2 Crore, with an occupancy ratio of 25.55%. The collection has dropped from day 1 to day 7 and check out the day-wise report below.
