Adipurush, Prabhas' latest mythological drama starring Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on June 16. The movie will be released in five languages and was made as a Hindi and Telugu bilingual.

Ahead of the film's theatrical release, Adipurush's actress Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Janaki, spoke to several media channels about her experience of working with darling Prabhas and director Om Raut for Adipurush.

According to a report in Eenadu, Kriti Sanon spoke at length about Prabhas and how they cooperated while filming for one of the high-budget films ever made in India.

In the interview, Kriti was quoted saying, "Prabhas in the very beginning told me that he doesn't know Hindi and asked me to manage accordingly. When there was time, I used to teach him Hindi. Similarly, for Telugu lines, Prabhas helped me get them correct," said she.

Adipurush Story

The movie is based on the story written by Valmiki in the epic Ramayana. About 7000 years ago, Ayodhya's prince Raghava and his brother Lakshmana embark on a mission to retrieve the abducted wife of Rama, Janaki. They fight several obstacles to face Lankesh, the demon king of Lanka.

Along with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, the movie stars Saif Ali Khan in the powerful role of Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, Vatsal Sheth as Meghanada, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal in key roles.

The movie is made under T-Series Films and Retrophiles banner by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. Karthik Palani cranked the camera for the film. Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre worked as the film's editors. The movie's background score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. Ajay-Atul and Sachet-Parampara composed the tunes.
