Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda's latest romantic entertainer Kushi, is running to houseful shows at the box office. The movie was released worldwide on September 1.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, the movie charts the romantic story of a couple before and after marriage. Upon its theatrical release, Kushi received tremendous response at the box office from fans and critics alike. Many reviewers gave ratings above 3 for the Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha-starrer, but the movie only touched the key elements of the story superficially.

After the opening weekend where Kushi made a killing, numbers and footfalls began to drop for the movie both in India and abroad.
