Vijay Deverakonda, Tollywood's craziest hero, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are collaborating on a youthful love story under the direction of Shiva Nirvana, who made films like Ninnu Kori, Majili, and Tuck Jagadish.

Titled Kushi, the movie is crucial for the director Shiva Nirvana as well as the actors Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda. The last films of all three have been major failures at the box office and they have pinned high hopes on Kushi.

In Kushi, Samantha is returning to playing the docile girl-next-door character in which she will be seen romancing Vijay Deverakonda as his girlfriend and wife. The film's shooting is happening at a brisk pace and is almost complete.

After the image Samantha garnered with films like Super Deluxe, The Family Man, Citadel, and Yashoda, it is to be seen if fans of Samantha will warm up to the character she portrays in the movie Kushi. Her recent film Shaakuntalam, a romantic love story earned a disastrous response at the box office.

Kushi Locks Its OTT Partner

The romantic saga is already catching up with the fans of the respective actors and the film buffs with its engaging music, enthralling first single 'Na Roja Nuvee,' and the first look posters.

As per the available information, Amazon Prime Video, one of the biggest OTT platforms has expressed interest in buying the digital streaming rights of the movie. In all likelihood, the seal will be closed soon and an official confirmation will be made.

The movie is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers. The movie's music and background score is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahad. G Murali cranked the camera and Prawin Pudi is working as the editor.
