Legendary Filmmaker, Late Kalatapasvi K Viswanath's Wife Jaya Lakshmi Passes Away 24 Days After His Death
K Viswanath breathed his last on February 2, 2023, on the same day his most acclaimed film Shankarabharanam was released 40 years ago. Now, 24 days after his passing away, his wife breathed her last.
Kalatapasvi K Viswanath's wife K Jaya Lakshmi passes away at her Hyderabad home just 24 days after the legendary filmmaker's natural death. Jaya Lakshmi, who was mourning the death of her life partner of more than 60 years, died due to age-related problems and grief.

K Jaya Lakshmi was 88 years old and is survived by three children-one daughter and two sons. Earlier, the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke awardee, K Viswanath died at the age of 92 due to old age. Veteran actor Chandra Mohan and late singer, SP Balasubramanyam are relatives of Viswanath and Jaya Lakshmi.
According to information, Jaya Lakshmi belongs to a village in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. Her father was a station master with the Indian railway.
