Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming high-octane action thriller Leo: Bloody Sweet, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is hitting the headlines frequently for its craziest updates. The movie marks the collaboration of Vijay and Lokesh for the second time.

While Lokesh and Vijay are joining hands for the second time, the epic onscreen pair of Vijay and Trisha is going to be back after a long 14 years. Fans of the actors are thrilled to watch them together in Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial.

Leo will release as a pan-India film. The movie co-written by Rathna Kumar was referred to as Thalapathy 67, before the title was announced in February this year. The movie's pre-release business and OTT, Music rights already fetched a great price. For the film, Vijay was reported to receive a whopping remuneration of Rs 120 Crore in the revenue sharing model.

After an underwhelming response for Vaarasudu, Vijay's debut Telugu film by Vamsi Paidipally, the makers are confident about Leo since it is coming from Lokesh Kanagaraj. The business offer for the theatrical rights of Leo are surprisingly high.

Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt as Antony Das, Arjun Sarja as Harold Das, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, George Maryan, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Iyal, Maya S Krishnan, and Jaffer Sadiq among others in key roles. Late Manobala also shot for the movie, and his scenes are going to be added to the film as a tribute, told the makers.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj collaborated again with his crew Manoj Paramahamsa for cinematography and Philomin Raj for the film's editing. Anirudh Ravichander is onboard for creating another sensational album. SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy bankrolled the movie on an approximate budget of Rs 300 Crore under the Seven Screen Studio banner.
