LEO Telugu States Pre-Release Business: Thalapathy Vijay's Action Film Needs THIS MUCH To Achieve Break-Even

Thalapathy Vijay's fans are gripped with excitement as his latest and upcoming film LEO, written and directed by none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj. LEO is hitting screens worldwide on October 19 to an enthusiastic reception.

The movie is special for the actor's fans because of a couple of reasons which include his collaboration with the director, and actress Trisha. The favourite onscreen couple has come together after about 14 years.

LEO Premise

A cafe owner becomes a local hero but his actions bring forth unimaginable consequences from a dangerous underworld that can shake his entire life from its roots.

LEO Telugu States Business

Thalapathy Vijay's dubbed films enjoyed a decent market and ran in the Telugu states earlier. However, after the bilingual Varisu aka Vaarasudu, Vijay stepped into the direct Telugu market. He earned decent figures for Vaarasudu, although not as much as its Tamil version did.

Leo's Telugu states valued business is at Rs 16 Crore. To achieve break-even, the movie needs only Rs 17 Crore at the Telugu box office.

Leo's worldwide business stands at Rs 215 Crore and needs Rs 410 Crore plus globally to cross the break-even point.

Leo Cast

Along with Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha as the lead characters, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Denzil Smith, Anurag Kashyap, Madonna Sebastian, and Iyal among others in key roles. Late Manobala will be seen in the film, which will be his last appearance.

Leo Crew

The movie is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of about Rs 300 Crore. Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy co-wrote the movie along with the director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film's music and Manoj Paramahamsa worked as the cinematographer. Philomin Raj took charge of Leo's editing.
