Baby movie written and directed by Hrudayakaleyam, Colour Photo, and Kobbari Matta fame Sai Rajesh, became a sensation after its release on July 14 worldwide. The movie is a poignant love story of high school sweethearts.

The movie stars Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin in the lead roles. Baby received rave reviews for its soulful music, engaging visuals, and realistic performances.

Sai Rajesh has been giving several interviews for the news, websites, and entertainment channels about his dream project Baby. Early Morning Vodka & Tequila Shorts For Anand Deverakonda

An emotional Sai Rajesh went on to say, "Anand did whatever I asked him to do for Baby. He came on board saying, 'Brother, you believed me and trusted me when no one believed me. I will do whatever you want me to do.' Every morning, he came to the set by 6 am, and on an empty stomach, I made him drink three shots of tequila. We mixed Vodka with Coconut water in the mid-summer for the desired effect and asked him to consume it throughout the day. By the time he approached a shot, he felt and looked depressed. Today, people are crying in the theatres and the efforts paid off."

Sai Rajesh Signed Three More Films With Vaishnavi As The Lead

During several interviews, Sai Rajesh expressed his concern for Vaishnavi, who played a character in Baby that attracted negative feedback. He said, "More than anything. She cried while signing the agreement. She was unable to comprehend what is going to happen to her image and career. We offered her three more films under our banner Amrutha Productions, irrespective of Baby's success, and included this clause in the agreement."

Baby Movie Is Originally Four Hours Long

The movie which was billed a bit lengthy was only an adjusted version of what the director envisioned at first. The original footage was four hours long and there have been many objections and brainstorming sessions to conclude. "I and producer SKN are not on the same page when it came to the runtime of the movie. However, after seeing the movie, mentors Bunny Vasu and Maruthi left the decision to me. I wanted to show more of Viraj's character, the pre-climax scene at the bridge, elaborate on Vaishnavi's parents, etc."

The Baby movie is continuing to pull crowds to the theatre despite several other films including Pawan Kalyan's BRO playing alongside.
