Maama Mascheendra is the latest romantic comedy action film starring Sudheer Babu, the Nitro star of the Tollywood industry. The movie was written and directed by actor-writer-director Harsha Vardhan. The film hit the screens worldwide on October 6 and received an underwhelming response due to a lack of promotions.

Upon its low-key release, the movie hadn't gotten adequate response to create buzz among movie lovers. Despite an entertaining trailer that promised super fun, a few reviewers opined that the film is not up to the mark.

The movie has two time periods and it involves a senior Sudheer Babu, who is ruthless and has two daughters. Unaware of his existence, his two nephews, who are quite uncanny in resemblance, fall in love with his daughters. They have a past and what happens next? forms the crux of Maama Mascheendra.

Maama Mascheendra OTT Release Date & Time

The digital streaming rights of the movie are secured by Amazon Prime Video. The movie, which failed to make an impact on the big screen will start streaming on the OTT giant from October 20. The announcement was officially made. The movie will be released on Prime Video as part of its Dussehra releases. The movie is one of the few releases to hit the OTT platform within two weeks of its theatrical release.

The comedy-action drama stars Sudheer Babu as Parasuram aka DJ, Harsha Vardhan as Ramdaasu, Eesha Rebba as Visalakshi, Mirnalini Ravi as Meenakshi, Ajay as Prasad, and Hariteja as Hariteja. In addition, several actors played supporting roles in the movie including Abhinaya, Ajay, Ali Reza, etc.

The movie is bankrolled by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banner in association with Srishti Celluloid. Chaitan Bharadwaj composed the film's background score and music. PG Vinda worked as the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh handled the editing.
