After
tying
the
nuptial
knot
with
Bhuma
Mounika
Reddy,
actor
Manchu
Manoj,
who
has
been
hitting
the
headlines
quite
often
these
days,
for
the
very
first
time
opened
up
about
divorce
from
his
first
wife
and
the
subsequent
phase.
Manchu
Manoj
and
his
newly
wedded
wife
Mounika
Reddy
took
part
in
a
couples
talk
show
hosted
by
none
other
than
one
of
the
most
sought-after
comedians
of
Tollywood,
Vennela
Kishore.
The
talk
show
titled
Ala
Modalaindi
is
on
ETV
and
is
a
weekly
episode.
For
the
upcoming
episode
on
April
18,
Manchu
Manoj,
who
is
best
friends
with
Vennela
Kishore,
attended
as
a
guest
with
his
wife
in
tow.
The
makers
of
the
show
released
a
promo
of
the
talk
show
which
spilled
several
details
about
the
new
couple's
love
story,
their
struggles,
and
why
Manoj
had
to
divorce
his
first
wife
Pranathi
Reddy.
Going
by
the
promo,
Manoj
looked
happier
than
ever
and
is
cheering
for
his
new
wife.
When
asked
about
who
is
the
romantic
person
between
them
both,
Manoj
answered
it
was
him
while
Mounika
also
pointed
a
finger
towards
Manoj.
The
couple
revealed
they
had
experiences
speaking
over
the
phone
for
hours
together
and
couldn't
decide
on
who
should
hang
up
first.
Talking
about
their
struggling
period
after
respective
divorces
and
their
courtship,
Manoj
shared,
"We
had
our
own
Vanavasa
period
and
it
went
on
for
several
years.
We
both
have
traveled
in
and
around
India
to
figure
out
things
for
ourselves."
Mounika
said,
"Everybody
thinks
Manoj
is
short-tempered
and
snaps
at
the
drop
of
a
hat,
but
these
days
he
is
putting
up
with
my
anger
issues,
she
laughed.
Coming
to
the
topic
of
his
separation
from
his
first
wife
Pranathi,
Manoj
revealed,
"I
was
put
in
a
situation
where
I
had
to
choose
between
love
life
and
my
passion
(films).
I
had
a
tough
time
and
the
same
amount
of
passion
and
love
I
gave
was
not
reciprocated.
Many
a
time,
I
initiated
to
go
there,
be
there,
and
do
things
but
I
felt
uncomfortable.
At
a
time,
I
was
confused
as
to
where
I
was
standing,
for
what,
and
for
whom."
And
then,
after
Mounika
and
I
got
to
know
each
other
better,
I
felt
she
and
her
son
are
my
responsibility
and
If
I
don't
live
up
to
it,
my
entire
existence
is
redundant." Then
I
was
ready
to
face
any
challenges
and
kept
it
strong
until
we
finally
got
married
with
the
blessings
of
our
families
and
friends.
