Ram Charan & Upasana Welcome A Baby Girl: RRR star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni have welcomed their first child, a baby girl during the wee hours of June 20. As the news broke out, best wishes for the new parents in town have been pouring in from all corners.

On the night before, Upasana with Ram Charan and their mothers' had reached the hospital for the delivery. They were snapped going in for the delivery, and a video of the same went viral.

visited the hospital to offer their best wishes for the couple on beginning an exciting journey in their lives as parents, along with several other family members including Chiranjeevi, his daughters, Varun Tej, Niharika, Allu Aravind and his wife, etc.

Meanwhile, actors like super star Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and others took to their social media handles to welcome Ram Charan and Upasana to parenthood.

Speaking to the media gathered at the hospital, megastar Chiranjeevi, who became a grandfather again said, "We are excited and happy. I am feeling ecstatic to share the news with you all. We have been waiting for them to become parents, and because of God's blessings and best wishes from our near and dear fans, well-wishers, they have become parents now. Fans from all over the world are pouring in congratulations from all corners, celebrating the arrival of baby girl."

He further added, "The baby was born at 1.49 hours on Tuesday at a very good time. Elders have informed us that the janma nakshatram of the girl is that of Lord Rama's, Punarvasu. Coming on Tuesday, which is special to Lord Hanuman is also a good sign. I think the baby has influenced so many good things in our lives starting from Charan's career to Varun Tej's engagement, etc. We are thrilled."

When questioned if they chose the time and date of birth for the baby to be delivered through a C-section (which has been a common phenomenon these days), Chiranjeevi replied, "There is no planning. It happened as it had to. That's all."

Fans Celebrate The Arrival Of Mega Princess With Balloons

The hundreds of fans of megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and other mega heroes from all over the two Telugu-speaking states have gathered at the hospital to welcome the new addition to their family on the occasion. They brought a humongous cake that read 'Congratulations' and released Red-coloured balloons into the sky. They distributed food packets to the needy.

A bulletin from the hospital where Upasana delivered their first child said, "Ms. Upasana Kamineni Konidela and Mr Ram Charan had a baby girl on 20th June, 2023 at the hospital. The baby and the mother are doing well."

Ram Charan and Upasana got married in 2012 in Hyderabad. They recently celebrated 11th year wedding anniversary and have welcomed their first child. The Game Changer actor reportedly took paternity leave and will ensure that he stays with the baby and mother.
