His son, Ram Charan is world-famous due to RRR, and his recent release, 'Waltair Veerayya' emerged as the Sankranthi winner by minting money at the box office amid tough competition. The veteran is in a happy phase as Ram Charan-Upasana have decided to become parents and is expecting their first child in a few months, ten years after tying the knot.
Chiranjeevi, who is currently listening to new stories and scripts by budding directors and the star directors in Tollywood has taken a moment to appreciate and cherish his daughters on the occasion of Women's Day.
He gifted his elder daughter, Sushmita Konidela, a pure silver-crafted trumpet seashell-shaped idol of Goddess Durga Devi.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sushmita shared a set of pictures and wrote, "Happy women's day! Thank you so much dad for this gift. What can depict us women better than this stunning Durga Devi souvenir. The powerful Jaganmata🙏🏻 @chiranjeevikonidela." (sic)

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushmita Konidela, who works as a personal stylist to her father, turned a producer by floating the 'Gold Box Entertainment' banner. She produced a movie titled 'Sridevi Shobhan Babu' starring Santosh Sobhan, which hit the screens recently to a lukewarm response.
Chiranjeevi is shooting for director Meher Ramesh's 'Bholaa Shankar,' which is a remake of Vedalam.
