Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty-starrer romantic comedy-drama Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty hit the screens worldwide on September 7. The movie was written and directed by Mahesh Babu P.

Upon its theatrical release, the movie is reviewed as a wholesome entertainer. The movie was released alongside a massive outing, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan but did a great opening day business and continued.

The movie revolves around a feminist chef Shetty aka Miss Shetty, played by Anushka. She rebuffs marriage and wants to be single. However, she always wanted to have a child. Sidhu (Naveen Polishetty) is a budding standup comedian, who gets hired by Shetty for her restaurant. The duo gets close and becomes friends. Shetty then asks Sidhu to be the donor for her to have a child. What happens next? What does Sidhu, who is in love with Shetty do? is all about the movie.
