Mohan Babu On His Son Manchu Manoj's Wedding With Mounika Reddy, Says 'Asked Him To Think Again...'

Manchu Mohan Babu, who recently celebrated his 71st birthday amid thousands of students at his Mohan Babu University in Tirupati, took part in various interviews on the occasion. He spoke at length about how his life wasn't a bed of roses. While sharing that he has withstood hundreds of obstacles throughout his remarkable journey, Mohan Babu also addressed a few personal questions about his younger son Manchu Manoj's second wedding to Bhuma Mounika Reddy.

When the interviewer asked Mohan Babu about his reaction to Manoj's decision of marrying Mounika, the veteran actor shared, "When Manoj told me that he would like to marry Mounika, I asked him to think thoroughly. He then said that he took the decision already and is confident about it. I then told him to go ahead."

Ultimately, he is my son and I want him to be happy. I will try to give him the best and what is good for him. Also, I believe that we should do what is good for us and shouldn't let others' opinions affect us. We cannot stop dogs from barking and how many dogs can you stop? added Mohan Babu.

Mohan Babu, who turned producer for Manchu Vishnu's Ginna shared, "I felt sad about Ginna and my other film Son of India. Both these films' failures affected me."

Meanwhile, Manchu Manoj and Bhuma Mounika Reddy, who were family friends first got separated from their earlier partners due to various reasons. Mounika is the mother of a five-year-old boy named Dhairav. Mounika and Manoj got close to each other and after going through a difficult personal phase, Manoj finally decided to get married to Mounika.

There were several rumours about Mohan Babu and Manoj's elder brother Vishnu's disapproval of this wedding. Manchu Lakshmi, sister of Manoj and Vishnu took the lead and organized the entire wedding at her house on March 3. The family's closest friends, relatives, and a few Tollywood personalities attended the wedding.
