Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is one of the promising actors in Tollywood. The 'Yuvasamrat' as fans fondly call him is a man of few words and always keeps his private life under wraps. He is ready to hit the screens this Friday with an action drama titled Custody.

Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, who is making his Telugu debut, Custody will portray Naga Chaitanya as a police constable named Shiva. The movie brings together actress Krithi Shetty and the actor for the second time.

During one of the interviews to promote his film, Naga Chaitanya again was faced with the question of his divorce and the whole issues around it. Speaking about the same, Chay said, "Frankly speaking, it was almost one year ago that we got divorced legally through mutual consent. It has been like one and a half years ago. People are continuing to talk about it even today. But whatever happened to me in my personal life, my marriage was unfortunate. But I have immense respect for that phase in my life."

He continued, "But these speculations media write about us and how they are projecting it out is like diminishing the respect. I really respect that phase of my life. By attaching another name just for the headlines for no reason or no involvement of the third party, it is wrong to do that for the sake of headlines. I hope this answer will put an end to the speculation and raises no more questions about it further."
