Another update about Taraka Ratna's bonding with his cousin Jr NTR has surfaced on the internet, amid the sad news. According to a few news reports, Jr NTR helped Taraka Ratna financially during the latter's low days.
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna died on February 18 due to cardiac arrest at the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bengaluru. The actor-turned politician gave up fight after several days, leaving his entire family in sorrow. Taraka died very young, and the entire Tollywood film industry is mourning his death.
Taraka Ratna was rushed to a hospital in Kuppam after he suffered a major cardiac arrest while walking with Nara Lokesh, Telugu Desam party's general secretary and former Minister on January 27 as part of 'Yuvagalam', a walkathon campaign that kick-started on the same day. Videos of the actor collapsing amid an ocean of people went viral on the internet.
Amid the sad news, another update about Taraka Ratna's bonding with his cousin Jr NTR has surfaced on the internet. According to a report on Asianet Telugu, Jr NTR helped Taraka Ratna financially during his low days. Taraka Ratna got married to Alekhya Reddy amid severe restrictions from his family. His acting career didn't take off as expected. At the same time, it was reported Jr NTR helped Tarak by sending him an amount of Rs 4 Lakh every month, until Tarak got back on his feet.
In one of Taraka Ratna's media interactions, he was quoted saying that he and Jr NTR, his brother share a very close bond, and it is because of him that he came so far. "Jr NTR is the reason why I'm like this today, and we all are Nandamuri family no matter who takes forward the legacy," Tarak was quoted saying.
Jr NTR and wife Lakshmi Pranathi, along with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram flew down to Bengaluru on the very next day after Taraka Ratna's hospitalization.
After the preliminary treatment, Taraka Ratna was shifted to Bengaluru for better treatment and facilities. However, due to several other underlying reasons, Taraka Ratna couldn't be saved. He fought with life for over 22 days. His mortal remains were brought to Hyderabad on the wee hours of February 19, where his family members paid respects to him. On February 20, he will be moved to the Film Chamber for the fans to bid goodbye to the humble person. On the evening of February 20, the funeral will be conducted, as per the available sources.
Including the Prime Minsister Narendra Modi, several politicians and film personalities have shared their condolences to the actor's family.
