Nandamuri Taraka Ratna Dies After Battling Heart Attack For Several Days!
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, an actor-turned-politician from the Nandamuri family died on on Saturday (February 18) night at the hospital. He collapsed following a heart attack during Nara Lokesh's 'Yuvagalam' program.
The 39-year-old youngster of the Nandamuri clan, actor-turned-politician Taraka Ratna breathed his last at the Heart Care Centre in Bengaluru on the evening on February 18. Taraka Ratna suffered a critical heart attack during a walkathon program of his cousin Nara Lokesh's 'Yuvagalam' campaign on January 27 in Kuppam.
The actor was born on February 23, 1983 in Hyderabad. He debuted in Telugu with 'Okato Number Kurradu' movie in 2002 at the age of 20 years. The actor was launched in a grand manner in the Telugu film industry, which was talk of the town then. Not one, not two but a whopping nine movies of the debut actor were launched on the same day, which was a record to date.
He appeared as a hero in several films out of which Yuva Rathna, Taarak, and Bhadradri Ramudu were quite popular. However, after a sabbatical, Taraka Ratna appeared on the big screen with a mind-blowing performance in Ravi Babu's directorial 'Amaravathi', as an antagonist. He received appreciation for his portrayal in the psychological thriller. He was last seen in a web series titled '9 Hours.'
On the other hand, Taraka Ratna, who was born to Nandamuri Mohana Krishna, son of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao Sr and a noted cinematographer. Although Mohana Krishna is not as popular as his brothers Nandamuri Hari Krishna and Balakrishna, Tarak made an impact in Tollywood.
He lacked support from his family when he fell in love and married Alekhya Reddy in 2012. Ever since, the actor has come out of his family and living separately. Only recently, he joined his uncle Nara Chandarababu Naidu led family party 'Telugu Desam' and forayed into active politics.
However, on the unfateful day, Tarak collapsed during the walkathon and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received immediate medical attention until doctors from Bengaluru's Narayna Hridayalaya arrived to escort him to their facility.
Following the incident, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Jr NTR, Nandamuri Balakrishna and others paid him a visit. The political and Tollywood fraternity is mourning the loss of Taraka Ratna.
