Nandamuri Taraka Ratna's Wife Alekhya Reddy Falls Sick; To Be Admitted In A Hospital?
Alekhya Reddy has been crying inconsolably ever since Taraka Ratna collapsed and his critical condition came to light. She refrained from eating and sleeping which dehydrated and made her fall sick.
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna's death sent the entire Tollywood and Telugu people into a state of despair. The actor died on February 18 while undergoing treatment for an unfortunate and sudden cardiac arrest on January 27. Taraka Ratna is an actor from the Nandamuri family;he joined Telugu Desam party to foray into politics. However, as fate would have it, Taraka Ratna collapsed during the first ever walkathon campaign event of Nara Lokesh's 'Yuvagalam.'
Taraka Ratna is survived by wife and three children including two daughters. His entire family are in a state of disbelief and are fighhting to keep up with the immense grief bestowed on them out of nowhere. The children are too young. Alekhya Reddy, his wife, whom he married in 2012 against the wishes of his parents is reportedly sick after the entire incident as she has been dysfunctional emotionally and mentally following his hospitalization.

Alekhya Reddy is a fashion designer by profession and the duo met during the filming of Daya, on which Alekhya was working as a costume designer. They both belong to different communities and this was one of the major reasons for their parents to not support their marriage. The duo then got married at a temple in Hyderabad.
Taraka Ratna is the grandson of legendary Telugu actor, founder of Telugu Desam Party and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. His father, Mohana Krishna is a cinematographer. Alekhya Reddy is a relative of Vijaya Sai Reddy, Rajya Sabha member and an associate of YSR Congress Party's Founder and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy.
