Actress Lavanya Tripathi hit the headlines for her alleged wedding rumours with actor Varun Tej, megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew. The actress, who has worked with Varun in 'Antariksham' and 'Mister' is close friends with Varun Tej's family. Amid the wedding rumours with Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi recently responded but her response is something that led her fans and people into confusion.

The 30-year-old actress, who was raised in Dehradun, slowly climbed up the ladder to make a place for herself in the Tollywood film industry. Her debut film was 'Andala Rakshasi' in 2012 by 'Sita Ramam' fame Hanu Raghavapudi. The movie made her a popular star overnight and opportunities came knocking on her door. However, the graph of Lavanya's career wasn't up to the mark, due to various reasons. She completed a decade in Tollywood.

Lavanya, being the confident and determined person she is, is focusing on her work by picking roles that bring out the best in her. Her recent outing was a web series titled 'Puli Meka', which premiered on Zee 5 recently. Although the series was dubbed as a mediocre murder mystery thriller, which has a meaty role for Lavanya's character 'Kiran Prabha,' her performance satisfied her fans.

On the other hand, speaking about her personal life, the actress was quoted saying, "My life is about movies right now. I never had a wedding book like a lot of women have and dream about what to wear and so on. It is all about meeting the right person. When you meet the person for you and you are ready, then you get married. Marriage is something that has to be organic. When I'm getting married, I'd love to share the news with you all." I am focusing more on my professional life. However, it is to be noted that Lavanya didn't brush off the news about her alleged relationship with Varun Tej and her impending wedding.

Meanwhile, according to a few reports on several entertainment sites, Lavanya is said to have said 'Yes' to Varun Tej, when the latter proposed marriage to her in Bengaluru.

After Puli Meka, Lavanya will next be seen in Thanal, a Tamil film that is in the post-production phase. Lavanya is looking forward to doing more work after Puli Meka brought out another face of her as an actor.
