Maa Oori Polimera 2, known as Polimera 2 movie released amid great enthusiasm and expectations on November 3. The sequel, which features Satyam Rajesh, Getup Srinu, Baladitya, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in the lead roles registered an unprecedented success at the box office, despite being made on a decent budget.

After several killings amid black magic rumours in Jasthipally, auto driver Komaraiah elopes to Kerala with his first love Kavitha, faking his death. His brother Jangaiah, a constable goes missing in search of his brother. Komariah's wife Lakshmi and his friend Balija are confused. A group of men try to excavate the hidden treasure in the cursed temple. What happens next? Did Lakshmi and Jangaiah trace Komari? Why Komari faked his death? Why he eloped with Kavitha? forms the crux of Polimera 2.
