The heroes of Tollywood are now internationally popular, thanks to the larger-than-life canvas they are put on by passionate filmmakers who are willing to experiment and take that one step with courage. Over the years, the Telugu film industry has leaps and bounds in terms of making big-budget films, creating stars, and placing Telugu cinema on the global map.

The industry also produced heroes with massive and insane fandom including Prabhas, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, etc. A specialized media outsourcing firm Ormax Media recently conducted a survey to bring out the ranks of 'Most Popular Telugu Hereos For January 2023', which depicted Pan-India star Prabhas in the first place.
