Pushpa The Rule: Allu Arjun's Much-Hyped Sequel To Feature A Massive Ship Fight! Shoot Kick-Starts! Read On!

Allu Arjun, who rang in his 41st birthday in Hyderabad with family and close friends on April 8, flew down to Vishakapatnam aka Vizag for beginning the new schedule of Pushpa 2. The filming under the direction of Sukumar B will take place near the port area.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna is the film's female lead, continuing to play the Srivalli character. At the end of part 1, Pushpa: The Rise, Pushpa Raj ties a wedding knot to Srivalli, after confronting Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil). The sequel kick-starts with finding Pushpa who escapes from a jail in Tirupathi.

The makers revealed the first look poster of Pushpa Raj and three minutes 17 seconds video glimpse on the eve of the actor's birthday on April 7. Going by it, fans assume that Pushpa Raj is locked up by Bhanwar Singh Shekawat who is raged up and kills his dog in the heat of the moment, towards the end of Pushpa 1.

According to the latest buzz, the director and team are all bucked up to shoot a massive ship fight sequence for the movie in the port area of Vishakapatnam. Also, they will can a few important scenes in a few parts in Orissa. According to a report in The Hindu, the team of Pushpa 2 will shoot at "Swabhiman Anchal, once a bastion of red rebels in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. The region is restricted for the public and police as left-wing extremists under the Andhra-Odisha border zone of the CPI were ruling the roost."

They quoted a Production Manager of the Mythri Movie Makers, P Venkateswara Rao, who confirmed that they have finalized a few spots like Hantalguda, Saptadhara, and Jhulapola along with Swabhiman Anchal for the sequel.

Pushpa 2 stars Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Ajay Ghosh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Dhananjya, Shatru, Mime Gopi, and Brahmaji among others in key roles. All of these actors are reprising their roles in the sequel.

The movie's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Karthika Srinivas along with Ruben edited the movie. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek cranked the camera for the film.
