Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming dark comedy-action thriller Jailer, written and directed by Nelson, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. The movie is going to release in Tamil on August 10 with its dubbed versions in Telugu and Kannada releasing on the same day.

The movie's trailer which was dropped recently is setting YouTube on fire. Fans of the Thalaiva are ecstatic and are eager to watch him on the screen in action, in Nelson's directorial. Jailer's trailer only hyped the already sky-high expectations for the movie.

Meanwhile, the three tracks- 'Kaavalaa,' 'Raathamarey,' and 'Hukum' have become chartbusters already. The veteran who enjoys a solid market and fanbase in the Telugu states is racing ahead in terms of advance bookings. In Hyderabad, Rajinikanth's Jailer surpassed the advance booking collection of megastar Chiranjeevi's Bhola Shankar.

Jailer Cast

The movie stars Rajinikanth as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen in the role of Mathew and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar as Narasimha. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is also a part of the film's cast. In addition, the music stars Sunil, Ramya Krishnan as Muthuvel's wife, Vinayakan as the antagonist, Mirnaa Menon, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Naga Babu, Kishore, and Tamannaah in key roles.
